ESPN- Former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak will interview Monday for the Cleveland Browns’ vacant head coaching job, league sources confirmed to ESPN Senior NFL Insider Chris Mortensen. Munchak was fired earlier this month by the Titans after going 7-9 in his third season with Tennessee. He also has interviewed for the Detroit Lions’ head coaching vacancy, the Houston Texans’ offensive line coach position and the head coaching job at his alma mater, Penn State.
Can I label this one under Pre-Breaking News? The Browns won’t hire him and they will say he was never a candidate. They just wanted to know what it was like to have a Hall of Famer in the building who didn’t completely despise white people (I’m looking at you Joe DeLamielleure). I don’t know who this is a worse look for, the Browns or Munchak. Interviewing for an Offensive Line Coach job or the Head Coach of a team. Sure you can flip burgers, or you can be Security Manager of Los Pollos Hermanos. Believeland at it’s finest. I wonder what the Vikings water boy is up to, I’m sure he has some ideas on how to make Brandon Weeden a top 5 QB.
PS Munchak’s daughter is kinda hot, kinda looks like dad. I might be able to use the latter against her and her self esteem, bang-a-rang with a knock up and grow myself a large athlete.
